Manama, Bahrain – 28 November 2025: Diyar Al Muharraq, the largest real estate development company in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has signed an agreement with the Saudi Cable Company to manufacture and install cables as part of the development of two new 66kV substations. The project will supply power to Al Wasem, the commercial district, and the broader Northern Islands.
The signing ceremony took place at Cityscape Bahrain 2025, in the presence of Eng. Mohamed Al Mannai, Head of Development and Project Management at Diyar Al Muharraq, and Abraham Joseph, Senior Project Manager at the Saudi Cable Company.
The agreement aims to enhance the readiness of the city’s infrastructure and meet the needs of residents and investors, alongside providing a future-ready, integrated and sustainable power system.
